The Story Behind the Jar

I walked into my very first mammogram at 40 years old, and a few weeks later was met with a breast cancer diagnosis. Single and alone, I was overwhelmed, spinning, and quickly sucked into the sea of treatment and side effects.

I needed to come up for air, and found it in my kitchen by creating a ritual of hydrating.

Hydrating for nutrition. Hydrating to cleanse toxins. Hydrating to heal.

I knew I didn't want to hydrate with sugar-filled sports drinks or bland water; I wanted purposeful hydration and needed functional support.

So I created it: L-Theanine from green tea for inflammation, cranberry for UTI defense, pink salt for sweetness & strength, lime bubbly water for joy—and absolutely no sugar. It wasn't just a drink; it was a daily act of self-love wrapped in a mason jar. It was delicious, it worked, and I haven't stopped drinking it since.

Two weeks after chemo ended, deep in the fog, yet comforted by my weekly tea making, and the mason jar by my side, I was laid off. Physically exhausted, financially vulnerable, and facing 8 more months of active treatment, I didn’t think I could take another blow. I curled up, cried for a few days, then started dreaming and scheming—it was called "Create Drinks" back then, and I didn’t know it, but my kitchen lifeline wasn't just a drink—it was my future.

I am building Drink Re:solution because I know that ‘recovery’ isn't just for cancer patients—it’s for tired parents, overworked professionals, and athletes pushing their limits. I am creating a beverage brand dedicated to "Hydration with Purpose"—not just to quench thirst, but to fuel resilience.

I hope that by sharing my ritual with the world we can fuel a larger mission. I will donate a portion of my proceeds to Do Cancer, the organization that supported me every step of the way, and provide funds to lift the financial burden of care for other patients, ensuring no one else has to face the financial devastation I endured.
